Bubba's Story...
I’m Bubba and I am one tough hombre…ok, gato. I'm 9 years old and on thyroid medications.
I love manly things like sleeping in the sunshine, sleeping in my special box, and sauntering across my vast terrain to sleep in the shade.
Don’t think I am not aware of what’s going on at every moment even though it looks like I am sleeping.
At any given moment I spring into action moving strait towards my food bowl, a cool breeze or some stray cat treats.
I like the easy and calm life and could handle a little of the great outdoors if it is safe.
My motto is sleep whenever possible, eat whenever you are given food, be amenable to a scratch under the chin, and be sure to bring calm to your surroundings

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a St Helena Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St Helena, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in St Helena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St Helena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St Helena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St Helena paves the way for another one to be saved.
