Here's what the humans have to say about me:
****PLEASE NOTE: DIO IS A VERY POPULAR BOY. WE ARE RECEIVING A LOT OF EMAILS ABOUT HIM. WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO THE EMAILS, SO PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AND THAT HELPS US ASSESS IF HE WOULD BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR HOUSEHOLD. WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR POTENTIAL ADOPTERS WHO RESIDE IN INDIANA OR BORDERING STATES. *****DIO MUST HAVE A 6 FOOT PRIVACY FENCE AS HE CAN JUMP ANYTHING SMALLER. ALSO, A HOME WITHOUT MALE DOGS IS A MUST.******
DIO: 2 YR OLD WOLFHOUND/LAB MIX Great with all people & kids Okay with female dogs; not males partially potty trained
Dio is such a handsome boy! His unique good looks insure that he is noticed wherever he goes; he loves people so adores all the attention he gets. He definitely is a social butterfly! Because he was dumped in a rural subdivision, he has some mild separation anxiety. He doesn't get destructive but would be happiest in a home where someone is home with him the majority of the time. Because of his past abandonment, he worries that his people will never come back for him. Dio does best with female dogs; male dogs seem to be very reactive to him, probably because of his large stature combined with a somewhat dominant disposition. He would be fine as an only dog since people are what he is most interested in and he would thrive in a home where he was able to get all the attention he craves. Dio is truly an amazing boy; whoever adopts him is going to be very lucky indeed! His adoption fee is $200; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
