My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Odin, but you might remember me from my other name, Beryl. I was one of 7 beagle-lab mix puppies born to Jewel on June 11. My mom gave birth to her 'gemstones' in a wonderful foster home in South Carolina after she was rescued from a shelter. Penny Angels took us in and has been helping us find new homes. I thought that I had found my forever home with a young couple, but they soon realized that owning a puppy was a lot of work and took up too much of their time. They loved me and were sad to send me back to Penny Angels, but felt it was the best thing that they could do for me.

This is what my previous owners wrote about me, "Odin is probably the most well behaved puppy to ever live! He spent his entire first night here in his crate without barking a single time. We took him out every 2 hours and he went to the bathroom every time. He didn't cry when he was alone in his crate and we both left the room. He is awesome and has already learned to 'sit'. We feel that it would be best for Odin to live in a house with a family that could really dedicate the time and patience to raising him."

My mom is a tiny beagle, only weighing 18 lbs. I never met my dad, but I think he was a lab. It looks like I will be a bigger dog, possibly weighing about 40-45 lbs. when I am full grown. I am a cute puppy with moderate puppy energy. I like chewing on puppy Nylabones and playing with my siblings, but I also like to snuggle up with them when I run out of energy. I will need to be taught some basic puppy skills so that I can grow up to be a well-mannered adult dog. Right now, I have a tiny bladder and will need to be taken outside for potty breaks more frequently, so please keep that in mind when you inquire about me.

Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment, so if you decide to adopt me, I want to be a permanent member of your family. In return, you will receive lots of puppy kisses, tail wags, and love! I will bring so much joy to your home and YOU will be saving a life! Are you ready to start a new adventure?! I don’t expect to be available too long, so if you are really READY for a puppy, don’t hesitate!

If you are interested in adopting Odin you will need to be pre-approved first. Please complete an application and submit it to Penny Angels. An adoption application can be obtained by visiting our web site at www.pennyangelsbeaglerescue.com. If you have any questions, please contact beagler534@comcast.net or emnase@aol.com, or call Penny Angels Beagle Rescue at 609-965-9476. Thank you!
