Hi!! My name is Layla.
I was a veterans dog, who is going through extensive medical treatment in another state so I lost my home and the only person I've ever known.
No rescues could help my veteran. None. My person was brokenhearted to give me up but had no choice as he is going to be in a hospital for up to a year and nowhere near Texas.
A nice lady decided to take me to see if she could help me and she called Bull luv able Paws Rescue. Our rescue was full and did not have a foster home available for a dog that needs to be an only dog.
Our rescue helped network and place Layla, however, Layla's adopter mom has decided she can't give her what she needs, even though we talked with her at great lengths about the importance of not switching Layla from home to home, as she had been through so much trauma losing her human. She is giving her back anyway.
Our rescue has nowhere for this girl to go! Nowhere!
We need a foster fast or the new adopter will surrender her to the shelter near her home.
This is a SOS PLEA!
Please help a veteran today. Layla is about 4 years old. She is potty and crate and leash trained. She loves long walks and does well on the leash after she settles a bit. She will do well in a home with another dog eventually, but she was not socialized at all, with her veteran, so she is just very scared of other dogs. With time, trust and proper walking together and introductions, Layla will be fine with another dog in the home. If you are willing to take the time and patience to love and train this girl, she will be the best dog you have ever had. She is not destructive in the home, while her humans are away. She is gentle and kind. Please consider Layla as your next family. We will be provide transportation to another state for the right adopter.

About Bull luv able Paws and Chi Wawas Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are all dog lovers. We believe that adoptable dogs should not be killed to make room for other adoptable dogs to wait to die. Texas is getting pathetic so we must band together and try and take weight off the growing number of dogs in shelters.
We only pull from euthanasia lists and typically the day of or the day before and we place them in matched foster homes until we find them perfection.
It doesn't always work out perfectly but our track record is pretty dang good!
We have, to date, saved more than 500 dogs.
We have a liason that we work with in Wisconsin and have sent almost 100 dogs to great homes there as well.
