Katya's Story...
Katya is just THE sweetest girl ever and she's looking for her forever home. This poor girl looks a bit run down because she had a hard life on the streets before we took her in. She was a wonderful mommy to her babies (that she had outdoors for the first 5-6 wks of their life) and deserves to find a home where she will treated like the princess she is!

She is super laid back and VERY affectionate! She's approx 4 years old, spayed, UTD and FIV/FeLV negative. For more info please email

She is currently being fostered in Branford.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katya, a Plantsville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Plantsville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Plantsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plantsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plantsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plantsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
