THIS DOG WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR MEET 'N GREET on Saturday, 9/17, FROM 10:30 TO 1:30 at the PETCO of Downers Grove - 1400f 75th St, Downers Grove, IL 60516. COME ON OUT AND MEET YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND!
Introducing Romeo, an absolutely adorable 8 month old puppy that is a Corgi/Hound mix. Romeo is 26 pounds and has a soft coat of gold and white fur and a couple spots thrown in for fun. He is a goofy, playful, puppy with a lot of energy and a lot of love to give. He is a total cuddle bug - he's very loving and sweet.
Romeo has gotten along well with other dogs while in foster care; he absolutely loves to play and wrestle with them. His best friend is Billy, a purebred Beagle also seeking adoption. Romeo does well with pretty much everyone; despite this, he will need continued socialization with other people and dogs as he matures since he's still going through puppy stages.
Romeo is crate trained and housebroken. As a puppy, he does need to get outside for elimination more frequently, but he is doing great. Romeo was found wandering the streets on July 4th; despite all efforts, no owners came forward, so he is now seeking his new forever home.
This dog has been neutered, inoculated against diseases, dewormed, tested for Heartworm Disease and placed on monthly preventative, plus microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS are available for online completion and submission through our website - www.acaringplacehs.org
