DEXTER's Story...
hi, My name is Dexter. i am a happy loving active boy. i am 4 years old, and i weigh a whopping 80 lbs. I need an active home. I like kids and adults.
I like cats and other dogs, as long as i am introduced properly. I am getting to know my new foster brothers and sisters. I am not a big barker. My adoption fee is 325. i am in perfect health, and all fixed and up to date with shots. please contact janet, soulymainepetsrescue@comcast.net. thanks so much!

UPDATE FROM FOSTER HOME!!
Dexter is doing great. He is easy going and follows the pack in all their shenanigans. He adores my son & spends all his loyalty & love towards him and is sad when my son goes and doesn't take him. I know when hesitate on the porch and looks out he's waiting for Jacob to return.
He's accepting to all ages & a total gentle giant around food especially in young kids hands. He barks to let me know someone is here and needs a good sniff over before he settles in again. Cats I am not sure but he pays no mind to the squirrels that taunt the dogs in the morning. He's a big marshmallow. He hates his crate now. Loves to lay in it but barks when the door is closed. He has no problem sharing his crate either.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DEXTER, a bath Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in bath, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in bath.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in bath already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a bath breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in bath paves the way for another one to be saved.
