Dutchess's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Dutchess's Story...
Meet Dutchess! She came to us from VSCD after receiving treatment from a fractured pelvis. Dutchess is now all set to go and only estimated to be around 2-years-old. Being so young, clearly she has had a rough start to life and deserves the best from here on out. While she came to us a little nervous, she sure has opened up to be the sweetest girl! Dutchess walks beautifully on leash, enjoys tossing and trotting around with her toys, and getting cozy on a comfy blanket. She recently went to a craft fair and loved everyone she met - she even made friend with some kids and another dog! Could you be the one to show her what the good life is all about?!

We will let you know Dutchess is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. For more information, please give us a call at (302) 571-0111 or visit us at our center (701 A Street Wilmington, DE) Tuesday-Friday 12-7pm or Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Wilmington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
