My story

Joey is a small 2 1/2 yr old Maltese male. He is cute as a button but as a bit "spoiled" by his former owner and can be bossy. Once he knows you he is a sweetheart and very cuddly and playful. He isn't good with strangers and will lunge at them due to fear of the unknown and will need socialization with people and different situations. His foster mom has taken him out and about and Joey is very quick to catch on and seemed to like the adventure - especially the treats from strangers (so they all aren't bad!). Joey does great in a car, is crate trained, walks wonderful on a leash, and is housetrained. Joey was just neutered last month and up to date on shots. He just needs firm guidance and direction to overcome his little doggie phobias. Not good for children under 12.

Joey's life span is between 13-15+ years and applicants must be ready to make a commitment to him for that time frame.

**applicants must be in a 2 hr driving range from Toronto/Niagara area as we do home visits ourselves with our dogs.
