Kelli is such a sweet little black and white tuxedo girl. There was a malfunction with her carrier when she first arrived at her foster home and she bolted out of it while being brought into the house but she never went far. Her mother was close by so she stayed close to her in the beginning. It is quite the story but eventually she learned to trust her foster mom and has decided that indoor is the life she likes. She loves to be petted and loves to be near her foster mom. She has certain things that she loves such as being right there to get her fair share of treats when given out but they have to be a certain kind or she doesn't want them and will just walk away. When her foster mom is eating cereal, she'll wait till she's done so she can have a little lap or two from the bottom of the bowl. She has such a great personality but is still very cautious about certain things that make her nervous such as any loud bangs, even if they're just on TV! She doesn't care for being picked up and held but will come nearby for attention after she learns to trust you. She will sometimes play with whatever toy is on the floor and can entertain herself most of the time. If you have a quiet home and just want a nice quiet companion who will bond with you, please check her out. She would be best in a home without kids and dogs but would probably be fine with another cat buddy or two. She is litter trained, microchipped, now indoor only with no declawing. She is 1 year old and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
