Ahhhhh, Sweet Rose! Rose was running around town as a stray for some time. She is terrified of most people and has lost all trust. She was finally caught after a determined two weeks of trying. Rose is very gentle. She pretty much stays on her blanket but will sometimes approach her kennel door to sniff a hand, staying just far away enough to not touch. She will let you pet her but she flinches with every stroke. Rose is very observant and smart. She has already learned which kennel is hers and she has picked up on the routine. Once she is vetted, she will be ready for a home. Rose is the type of girl that will become a Velcro dog once placed with her person. She has all of the potential in the world to be a great dog. She will most likely be okay with other dogs and cats in the home. Older children may be okay as well, teens definitely. Rose just needs to find her special place in life. Date of Intake: 8/9/16
