Thomas Rhett
Hi, I'm Thomas. I was born on the streets in south city.

On a very cold day last winter, a mean man trapped me and threatened to drive me down to Jefferson Barracks and abandon me there. I don't know if that's what he really would have done. Maybe worse. I don't want to think about it. The mean man called a woman at Cat-Aid and she came to get me right away.

It's a good thing I got rescued, because I had hair growing out of my third eyelid. It was really uncomfortable and made me blink a lot. The kind vet removed it when I got neutered, and it was a relief.

At first, I was really unsure about people. It took me months to come around, but boy did I come around! I LOVE to be pet now!

I'd sure love a home of my own now. I'd probably be a little shy at first, but I'd come around. I'd love other kitty friends, too.

Won't you ask about adopting me? To inquire, please contact Jackie at (314) 229-9569, or email

About Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc. was founded in 2006. We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit cat rescue operating in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. We believe that every cat deserves a chance to have their own human family to know the love and security of a forever home...

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events every weekend from 1-5 pm Saturday and 1-3 pm on Sundays at the Petco store in Kirkwood, Missouri. We also have a few cats who reside at the Petco Kirkwood during the week. (During holidays adoptions are done by appointment only)

To adopt a cat from Frisky Whiskers or to inquire about a particular cat, visit us at an adoption event, email us at, or call us at (636) 343-7106 or TEXT to:(314) 477-9038 & (314)780-3325.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask people fill out an adoption application, and we interview applicants. Our goal is to ensure a good fit between cat and humans. Once we have reviewed the application, we require you to complete an adoption contract.

We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation, but we reserve the right to refuse an adoption based on information we gain during the application process. We try very hard to match our cats' needs and requirements with applicants' lifestyles and circumstances. Our goal is to make every adoption a happy and lasting one!

Our adoption fees cover vet care for emergencies and medical issues in addition to routine care. Before adoption, all animals receive the following care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for FVCRP & rabies, test for felv/fiv, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.

Adoption fees are as follows: 1) senior cats $95, 2) cats 1-7 $125, and 3) under one year $150. We do not intend to imply that senior cats are less valuable; rather, this fee schedule reflects the fact that senior cats tend to come to us already spayed and neutered.
