Oz is affectionate with his humans and reserved with strangers but warms up through the offering of treats. As a lone puppy he was found sitting in the middle of an intersection waiting possibly for the person who abandoned him to return. He stayed in the same spot for days under the rain and summer heat finally with lots of coaxing and food incentive, his rescuer was able to take him away. Oz is looking for an experienced dog owner to provide further socialization with people and work on his leash manners. He would do well in an active home with another easy-going well-balanced dog as a role model.
Oz is neutered (August-02-2016), up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed and tested negative for heartworm.
