Keeley's Story...
KEELEY is approximately 3 years old. She is a border collie/ terrier mix. She is true to her herding breed side and likes to be in charge.. She is a high-energy girl and would do best as an only fur child. To help Keeley, she has been to obedience training and she knows the basic commands and the most important one, which is she comes when she is called.. She does the others things well, but this is sometimes the hardest to master, and she’s good at it. She likes her toys and would like you to play fetch with her, go for walks and car rides. Keeley is very loyal girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keeley, a Wichita Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
