Kyashi had a hideous thing done to her that no creature should experience. Yet even with her ordeal, this exceptional sweetheart came through wanting only to seek out love, pets, cuddles, snuggles and hugs. You will not meet any cat this affectionate!!
Kyashi was found by a Cats Cradle volunteer, with a litter of kittens and terribly injured. Our veterinarian examined her and told us the horrifying way she got her injuries. It shakes your view of some humans, but, based on her injuries, the veterinarian is sure that someone had thrown Kyashi out the window of a moving vehicle. She had serious 'road rash' covering her entire back legs. Then, still dealing with that intense pain, she gave birth to three adorable babies.
Kyashi ignored her own pain and raised her babies. As you can see in her photos, she was an outstanding, careful and loving mother, even when she still had her bandages and medical cone around her face. In fact, when we soon took in an orphan kitten, Kyashi welcomed and accepted the newcomer and raised her too, just as lovingly as she raised her own babies. Kyashi's kindness and love seem truly boundless.
Kyashi's kittens are raised now, and most already adopted. With time and care, Kyashi's injuries are now fully healed. Her fur grew back and our veerinarian says she is good as new, and very ready for a real home -- with kind people this time!
Kyashi is a very happy, social, active girl who loves to play. But MORE THAN ANYTHING, KYASHI LOVES PEOPLE!!!! Enter the room and she is fulls speed ahead, rushing to you, sweetly nuzzling you, asking you to pick her up and love her. HER FAVORITE PLACES ARE IN YOUR LAP OR YOUR ARMS!!! Purrrrrrr....... Purrrrrrrrrr.......
Kyashi is just one-and-a-half years old, with perfect classic Tabby markings. You cannot see it in her photos but she seems to be a 'Tabby-Aby' -- her body and tail are unusually long, very feminine, slender and elegant, like an Abyssinian -- or a dancer. She is beautiful! She has excellent litter box habits and is now spayed (no more kittens!) and microchipped. Kyashi is delightfully polite and, with her off-the-charts affection, she will fit well into most any home and lifestyle. (Kyashi right now prefers no other cats.) She is perfectly fine amusing herself when you are out at work, and then when you return home, she is overjoyed, rushing up to love you
Kyashi will be a perfect choice for a person or family wanting a cat who is super friendly and social, and who loves spending time interacting with them and cuddling with them.
If you would like to meet extremely loving Kyashi, please email her foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption; however, kittens receive two vaccinations. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.
Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
