Joe's Info...

I am housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Joe's Story...
Sweet Joe is STILL looking for his forever home!!

This big guy has been here for over 6 months with no interest.
He is the sweetest. goofiest, playful, loving dog you could find.
Joe is a great dane/boxer mix, around 2yrs old, we had originally thought because of his joint problems that he was older but it turns out, all he needed was good food and tlc and he's fit as a fiddle! You would never guess that just a few months ago this guy was nothing but skin and bones!

Joe gets along with other dogs but prefers quiet dogs that are not bossy, he has been tested around cats and wasn't aggressive but being a large dog, he has a high prey drive so if he was adopted to a home with cats they wouldn't need to be monitored.

Joe has a $20 adoption fee and you will have to sign a contract to get him neutered within 30 days of adoption.

Act quickly to adopt Joe. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe, a Everman Great Dane/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Boxer for sale in Everman, or seeking a Great Dane/Boxer dog from a breeder in Everman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Boxer breeders who help with Great Dane/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everman paves the way for another one to be saved.
