My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a beautiful, young, vibrant dog in need of a permanent home. She is only 2 years old and weighs about 80.0 lbs. She has a lot of enthusiasm for life, and needs an active owner. Dixie needs someone committed to loving her and training her. We see the potential in this gorgeous girl. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, she loves dogs, and cats as well as all people. Dixie was abandoned at a high kill shelter, and has been in foster care for at least three months. We bet you can take one look at her and know she is the one you have been waiting for. We expect Dixie to be at the top of her obedience class because she is a very intellegent girl. You will have a friend for life once you adopt this beauty. Dixie has been fully vetted, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated, spayed, heartworm preventative, treated for worms and fleas. Her adoption fee is a very reasonable $150.00. If you think she is the perfect one for you, Please e-mail us for an adoption application. Dixie can't wait to make Your home Her home!

Please be aware that it is the opinion of this rescue group, in conjunction with dog behaviorists, that an adopted pet bonds best with their new human companions thru proper behavior, proper socialization, guidance, and love. You can achieve this with obediance classes. MAS Rescue can offer you reduced rates with PUPS training program. Please visit the following website : http://www.pupsdogobediencetraining.com/index.html. Don't forget to provide special arrangements for your furry friends if they are to be left alone for long periods of time during the day, such as: Puppy DayCare, Dog Walker, etc.

Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. No guarantees are implied.
