Hi ya’ll, it’s me Rosie Mae!

After being rescued from the streets of the Corridor of Cruelty when I was only two, my foster mommy couldn't let me go and adopted me, and that was more than three years ago.
We are two peas in a pod who have a fantastic life together. Sadly, my mommy is relocating internationally and can't take me with her. Though we are both very sad, we know that I will find another great home soon. I told mom that our home is awesome but an even bigger yard would be super cool!

Mommy says I’m such a fun, beautiful girl who constantly makes her laugh. When not getting a belly rub, I'm more than likely chasing lizards and squirrels in the yard. My two favorite things are meeting new people and going for walks. Although I have a best dog friend Buddy, who lives across the street, mom says it's better if I'm an only child. I am house training and don’t care to chew on anything that doesn’t belong to me either.

Everyone tells me that I’m a sweetie and how cuddly and affectionate I am. Mommy says that though I’m a 65 lb, I think I’m a lap dog.

About Corridor Rescue, Inc. - Seattle Transport

About Our Rescue Group...

Corridor Rescue Inc. is an all-breed 501(c)(3) non-profit street dog rescue on a mission of mercy, rescue and awareness -- a mission to save lives and correct an injustice to animals who have been thrown away and left to fend for themselves in an area in Houston dubbed the "Corridor of Cruelty." Here, trash and animals are discarded without thought on a regular basis. We're not talking about a handful of animals, but hundreds of animals fighting to simply survive another day.

Founded by one person, Corridor Rescue has grown its team of volunteers, from all walks of life, united in an effort to help this community of orphaned animals in desperate need of help. We work to rescue hard to capture dogs and cats, to rescue and rehabilitate diseased and injured dogs, to facilitate the rescue of animals mainly from the Corridor of Cruelty but also from other areas of Houston, and to educate about spay/neuter and animal cruelty laws.

Success happens on the streets every day, yet we know that our fight is far from over.
