Boscoe's Story...
Hi All...I'm Boscoe and I'm very social, active, playful and affectionate. And I got along great with the children, 2 other dogs and 5 cats in my home. My person said I'm an all-around good dog and he just wasn't able to give me the attention and activity that I need. I've been on a Canines for Cardio walk from the VHS to Garvin Park and back and my Walker said that I have a medium energy level, wasn't fearful, and was very loving and sweet. And I even earned a GREEN on my temperament evaluation and that's the best rating the VHS gives. And please don't just leave me outside. It's lonely and boring out there without you and I might have to go looking for something to do or someone to visit. But if you're looking for a big lovable sweetheart to get some exercise with outside and cuddle up with inside, I hope you'll consider me.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, up to date immunizations, nationally recognized microchip and more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boscoe, a Evansville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
