Lafayette's Story...
Lafayette is a brown mix girl. She is about 7 months old and has a mostly brown and black coat with a bright white splash under her chin. She is playing with her siblings at HALAH having lots of fun while waiting for a home of her own. Lafayette and her litter-mates are named for parishes in Louisiana as a nod to their Catahoula roots. She has already been spayed.

This dog plans to be at Burleson PetSmart on Saturday, January 14th with HALAH's other dogs for adoption. Home At Last will be there from 11 until 3:30.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lafayette, a Godley Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Godley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Godley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Godley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Godley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Godley paves the way for another one to be saved.
