Please check out Birdie if you're looking for a family dog because this girl is absolutely wonderful! You can see from her photos that she is great with kids - she was raised with a toddler who is now 2 years old. She is also good with dogs and currently lives with a 13-year-old female Chihuahua. She's got a lot of energy so proper introduction in play etiquette is needed. She has been to doggie daycare, has a dog walker and is great on pack walks - she's good on a leash, too.
Reason for rehoming or rescue....
Owners moved from Texas a year ago and due to the work schedule there is no time for Birdie. Mom travels a lot and dad comes home to attend to the child and therefore is not able to attend to Birdie. She used to play fetch but now won't return the ball and seems to want to control that aspect of her life. She is protective at home meaning she'll bark if someone is at the door or rings the bell. What dog doesn't? Overall a great girl!
