Satchel's Story...
Oh we love this boy! Satchel was so tiny when he was found and near death. Owners had moved and left him on the porch! A neighbor noticed him a week after the owners had moved! He only weighed 4 lbs! Satchel is doing great now, is good with cats and dogs and is learning the ins and outs of staying in. He is medium energy, loves his crate at night, but really loves getting held and petted! Estimated Date of Birth 04/15/2016***All of our dogs are located at our parent organization, Wynne Friends of Animals, in Arkansas. We do provide transport to Griswold and Glastonbury CT. These are your locations for picking up your new family member. The adoption fee of $425.00 includes the cost of transport, spay/neuter, vaccinations, micro-chip and one month supply of heartworm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Satchel, a Jewett City Chihuahua/Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Corgi for sale in Jewett City, or seeking a Chihuahua/Corgi puppy from a breeder in Jewett City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jewett City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jewett City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Corgi breeders who help with Chihuahua/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jewett City paves the way for another one to be saved.
