Romeo's Story...
Romeo here, looking for love….and a furr-ever home! I’m Romeo the kitten, an active and playful orange tabby boy. Handsome, don’t you think? Why, thank you! I’m a sweet boy who loves to explore my FOHA foster home with my siblings (who’ve both been adopted). I’m the curious type of kitten who wants to be where the action is. I’ve got a purr machine that runs overtime – my foster mommy says I’m always purring. I’m obviously quite the happy boy. What will make me ecstatic with purrs? Why, finding my adoptive family, of course! Is that you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
