My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Violette is a 6-year old, 10 lb shih tzu maltese mix that was found sitting a an extremely high kill shelter. She was filthy and matted so people would glance at her and walk away. In spite of her appearance, we were drawn to her, those sweet, soulful eyes got us.

After a day at the spa and a new hair style, she has slowly turned into a little charmer. Due to how matted she was, at the moment her hair is shorter than we would like but it will grow back and Violette will be an even lovelier, fluffier dog!

She seems fine with other dogs, cats and people that she has met. Children might be bored with her as she does not have much interest in playing. Her Foster Mom tell us that Violette loves going for walks, seems to be house trained and is not a barker. Aside from her spa day, she just got her teeth cleaned so all she needs now is a loving, forever home.
