My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BOB & OLIVIA HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!

They are being fostered in Prairie Village, Kansas. If you are interested in making them a part of your family, our adoption application can be found on our website at http://www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org/ or inquiries can be directed to Jan at nbgrtexas@yahoo.com

Bob and Olivia are an irresistibly sweet little couple, who have lived most of their lives together, and are totally devoted to each other. Where one is, the other is sure to be nearby. We are sure they would hug each other if they could, but rest assured they have more than enough love in their sweet little hearts to share with the lucky family who welcomes them into their heart and home! That family will be reminded each and every day of the simple things in life that matter most!

Bob loves to play, and nothing is cuter than his little play stance with his butt up in the air and his little bob of a tail wagging wildly. Olivia is more demure and lady like, preferring to watch Bob's antics from the sidelines, but at the end of the day, when the family is relaxing in the living room, both are ready for snuggles with the family and lots of hugs and kisses!

Because it was not possible in their previous home to run and explore outdoors, since coming into rescue Bob and Olivia have developed a love for running freely in the fenced backyard of their foster home, exploring every nook and cranny, and sunning themselves in the grass! Nothing would make them happier than to have a securely fenced yard with lots of green grass in their new home!

Bob is 7 yrs.old and 15 lbs. Olivia is 8 yrs. old and 8 lbs. Both need to lose a couple of pounds, but with their foster family's help, those pounds will melt off in no time at all!

Both are doing great brushing up on their house breaking skills, and are now letting their foster mom and dad know when they need to go outside. They will sleep in a crate at night, but nothing would make them happier than sharing the big bed at night with their family.

This adorable little couple are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, had recent dentals, are heart worm negative, on monthly heart worm preventative, and micro chipped.

We never place dogs in homes reliant on electric or invisible fencing to contain pets. Fencing of this type may or may not keep a dog in the yard, nor does this type of fencing protect pets from predators, free roaming dogs, or people who may enter the yard. Should there be a power outage, the fence would be rendered useless. If a pet were to panic and run through the barrier and take an electrical jolt from the fence, that pet would not be inclined to return home, and could be lost forever.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
