4 Feb 2017: Remy is a 55 lbs golden tan Shepard mix. She is a spry 12 years old who likes to play and socialize. We know a lot about Remy’s past and current behavior from her foster family (us) and first Mom who had to surrender her due to a terminal illness.
Remy is an overall great family dog! She grew up with children, cats and dogs. She is very intelligent, mellow in the house, playful at the park and gets along with everyone! Remy is house trained and not prone to accidents in the house. She will let you know when she is hungry and needs to go out.
She is fairly quiet in the house, is not destructive, doesn’t guard toys or food, doesn’t have separations anxiety or need to be crated. Just a couple of good foam beds for her older body, stuffed bones and dog toys. Remy likes sleeping on her bed and stays close and connected inside.
Remy is innately caring to her foster sisters, giving them kisses and making sure they don’t get too worked up. She has an independence and wisdom that comes with age.
I can see her doing well in any caring and loving home.
But would do best with a family or other pets.
