Ruby Slippers's Story...
You must be a permanent resident of GA with no children under 10 years old to adopt from us. Please view our policies at georgiapoodlerescue.com before asking questions or completing an application.

Ruby is a 1 year old black and tan german shepherd girl! She was found as a stray by animal control and just came to us. Our evaluation of her shows her to have a wonderful personality, very obedient (we are teaching her commands (in English and in German) and socializing her and she is exceptionally smart), and very loyal and friendly! We are vetting her and are in the process of getting her spayed but she is available to be seen in the meantime. Pix coming soon! $500

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby Slippers, a Alpharetta German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
