Bruno has been raised around children. He is very sweet to them, but his bouncy nature can get him into trouble with really little ones who aren't steady on their feet. Bruno's single goal each day is to play and get a lot of attention. So in terms of cats, Bruno wants to play with them, just like he would a person. Some cats are a little overwhelmed by that much attention. His intention is never to harm. We didn't know how Bruno was with dogs at first. As far as we knew, he had not had any experience with dogs other than seeing them from a distance on leash. As it turns out, Bruno is a great with similar-sized dogs and really likes a playmate. We have not seen him interact with dogs smaller than he is.
Bruno is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is solidly housebroken as long as he gets potty breaks at reasonable intervals. He is not a fan of being crated because he used to be crated for long periods of time and as a form of punishment. He is being worked with to help him see the crate as a positive. As a younger pup he would find things that weren't his to chew on. Recently he has been doing well without the crate. Bruno knows some basic commands and requires and Easy Walk harness because otherwise he will tug too much. He loves going for walks, meeting new people, and going for car rides.
If you would like to meet Bruno please complete an adoption application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. This is the first step of the adoption process. Bruno's adoption fee is $150.
