Hera is a 12 year old Calico cat. She is very friendly and social with her foster, but she doesn't like other cats. This beautiful girl has been a stray for 12 years and had to fight for everything. Her foster has to keep her seperate from his kitties, and when they do meet she will hiss at them and swiped a few times. She doesn't play much but is super affection and just wants to be petted. She has a lot of affection to give. Hera is good around children, but the foster doubts she will get along with dogs. She also drools when she is happy. Hera always greets the foster when he comes home. All she wants is to be picked up and petted and loved. She might do better with an older family. For being a stray the foster thinks people took care of her because she is so social. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Hera, please contact Karen at 419-250-7925.

About Planned Pethood, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We invite you to read About Us and what makes Planned Pethood difference from many other rescues. YOu can do so here:

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have several adoption events a week at various locations. Check out our calendar for details here: .

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
