Parker ADOPTION PENDING's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Parker ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Parker has successfully completed heartworm treatment, healed from his neuter and is ready for adoption and is such a great dog. He is very friendly, outgoing and good with other dogs, cats and kids. Estimated at about 2 years old. Parker is a total love bug, learns quickly and is eager to please. He does still need some work on leash manners and realizing he is not a ten pound lap dog. We don't know what his mix is for sure but he has a shorter coat than a purebred Pyr and everyone who meets him thinks he is a Lab Pyr mix. He is a big boy at a slender 94 pounds.

Please visit our web site at www.gprci.com for adoption information. Our adoption application can be completed on line or downloaded. A securely fenced yard is required for adoption of our rescues with very few exceptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker ADOPTION PENDING, a Bloomington Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
