Kip's Story...
Kip and his sister Marigold were rescued from the streets of Queens when they were about 6 weeks old. Their mom is a feral kitty who has now been trapped and spayed and lives happily in a small colony where she is taken care of. Mari and Kip are social butterflies who reside in a Tuff Tails foster home thank goodness! They adore people and each other and we are hoping to find them a home together being they are so bonded. They were born approximately May 12, 2016 and have been vetted and are in great health. They love to romp together and snuggle with each other too! If you are interested in these wonderful kittens, please email us at info@tufftails.org today! We are looking for an indoor only home in the NYC/LI area - thank you!!!! #meow

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kip, a Levittown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Levittown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Levittown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Levittown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Levittown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Levittown paves the way for another one to be saved.
