Duran's Story...
Hello! I am Misfit Duran! A year and a half old Plott Hound mix. Let me tell you a little bit about me! I was an owner surrender because my family was moving and I could not go. I lived outside my whole life until I came into rescue. I had to learn that coming into the house was ok. I am learning manners and commands.. I know sit, stay, paw and catch! I am still working on leash walks and jumping up.. I am good in the car.. I LOVE my people and love attention.. I am learning things pretty fast too! I am very smart and treat driven so that is helping my training! I get along with other dogs, big and small too.. But I tend to chase cats. .
I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative.. Crate trained and housebroke.. Want to meet me? www.misfitangelsrescue.org for an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duran, a Eastpointe Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Eastpointe, or seeking a Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Eastpointe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eastpointe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eastpointe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Plott Hound/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eastpointe paves the way for another one to be saved.
