for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bogie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bogie's Story...
Bogie was left by his owner and a good samaritan rescued him but then just put him in the backyard. He had some skin issues from flea bites but that is clearing up nicely. He gives great basset kisses and knows how to make you smile. When you talk to him, he tilts his head to let you know that he is listening. His house manners are impeccable!! He will be available after Wednesday, August 24th because he has s minor surgical procedure scheduled. ** Bogie is going on an adoption home visit on September 9th!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogie, a Columbia Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
