Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Stitch and I’m an absolute doll. I was found as a stray, so no one knows my history. I didn’t get dental care in my previous life though, and now I don’t have any teeth and the bone in my lower jaw has deteriorated. That’s why my tongue hangs out. That doesn’t keep me from loving life, though. I can eat regular kibble, as long as it is soaked well. I absolutely love to snuggle and be close to my person. I am crated when my foster mom is gone. I don’t really care for it, but I do fine. I like to follow my person around the house, and if I can’t see my foster mom, I’ll whine a bit. I don’t cause any trouble and I’m housebroken. I’ve had a couple of accidents here, but that’s because I didn’t know the routine yet. I’ll even let you know when I have to go outside. I do bark sometimes, but I’m not yappy. I tremble sometimes, but I’ve heard a lot of Chihuahuas do that. I’m fine with the other dogs where I’m staying, but I like people best. I would love to find a forever family that would be home a lot with me. If you have some space in your heart for a sweetheart like me, I’d love to meet you! You won’t regret it, because I’m really special.
Chihuahua Rescue Says: Stitch is a well behaved pet whose needs were never met. She has plenty of quality life left in her and tons of love to give. She is a tad special needs because her jaw bone won't properly heal though that won’t interrupt her eating or her ability to be a wonderful pet. She shouldn't be in an environment that is threatening as she cannot defend herself. She needs to be kept safe. No tiny kids and any other pets need to be calm and balanced. Her care otherwise is pretty standard. Love good quality diet reasonable exercise.
