Hello there. My name is Suki. I’m pleased to make your acquaintance.  I may just be the most dainty, elegant and delightful kitty cat you have ever met.  I’m like a little ballerina.  I love human beings of all sorts – and am most happy when one is rubbing my tummy and giving me lots of attention while I flip around on the floor. I make funny little purry noises and talk quite a bit.  Then I will happily settle on your legs or right next to you for as long as you sit.

I am a breed of cat called an Oriental. Kind of like a Siamese, only a little different. I have been known to fetch and do other funny things like Siamese do – but I look like a very smart tuxedo cat.  My whiskers have their own language.

I am a girl. I’m only about 7 years old. I have been eating the world’s healthiest diet. I’m up to date on all of my veterinary care. I am pretty chilled out wherever I go.  For the first year of my life, it was not an easy ride. Still, I have always had a good attitude and never met a stranger.

My ideal household is one where I get lots of human attention, and there are no other pets.  Dogs scare me and I don't always get along with other cats, especially females.  This is why I am seeking a new home. My humans are moving to a smaller house. And they are very sad to let me go, but they know it’s better for me – since two of their other cats don’t seem to like me.  I spend a lot of time hiding from them so they don't attack me.

If you are home a lot (work from home maybe, or even retired) and you would love a precious, happy, playful, smart and loving mate – I’m your girl.  Please contact my humans at 828-337-1845 or

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
