This is zzBlessy. She was found under a bridge in March starving and pregnant (of course we didn’t know that). What we did know was that she has had MANY litters and has been abused. She’s covered in scars and is very un-trusting and skittish. We brought her home and we started the process of trying to get her healthy but it seemed like no matter what we did, we couldn’t get weight on her. We took her to the vet and got her current on all her vaccinations and that’s when we found out she was pregnant. On June 1st, she gave birth to 14 puppies. A few weeks later, she developed a severe skin allergy that forced us to take the puppies away and wean them. After treatment with antibiotics and no nursing, her skin infection cleared up and she started putting on weight. Today, she is completely healthy and needs a home. It takes her a while to warm up but once she’s comfortable, she is loving and sweet. She also does well with our 11 year old daughter. We’ve taught her to sit, lay, shake, get up and get down; she is very smart and I feel in the right environment and with some training, she will be the best dog!
