ELLIE's Story...
ELLIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Hi there, everyone! They call me Ellie, and I am the most beautiful, sweetest girl you'll ever meet!! I am 6 years old, miniature dachshund, my family had kids and decided they no longer have time for me.
I am very affectionate, love people of all sizes, great with dogs big or small. I really love to run, play, then snuggle, nap and dream of all the adventures we'll have together. I would just LOVE trips to the Dog Park and love to discover new things!
BE A FOSTER!!! Fosters make it possible Tails of the unwanted Rescue to save and care for homeless and abandoned dogs! To learn about fostering dogs, please contact us tailsoftheunwanted@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ELLIE, a Charlotte Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
