Ginger's Story...
Ginger is the BEST dog around! She is completely house-trained and is content to snooze upside-down on your couch while you’re away. She is friendly with every human, canine, and feline that she has ever met and has a classic “mama-dog” personality that keeps all other dogs in line. She has great leash manners and doesn’t even require a leash out on the farm. She loves to go for car rides and enjoys leisurely strolls with her humans.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Kittery Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Kittery, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kittery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kittery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kittery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kittery paves the way for another one to be saved.
