The last born of her litter, Gemma can be a little shy in new situations, but her curiosity and natural playfulness can't be contained for long. Gemma is one of the cuddlier ones of her litter, and has also shown herself to be a very quick learner, having already learned her name and being the quickest study of her group in housetraining. Gemma looks just like her beautiful mom, and to us she's a true gem!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gemma, a Regina Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Regina, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
