Facts about Lucky

  • Breed: Turkish Van
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: ps_86401538
  • Hair: Short

Lucky is a beautiful cat who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. They asked us to take in some cats who had been there for a while and were not getting any applications. Since then, all have been adopted except Lucky!

He is a really fun cat who gets along really well with other cats and dogs who aren't too hyper. He loves water and you can find him on the edge of the sink or bathtub if you've got the faucet running! He loves toys, tunnels, cat trees, and windowsills, as well as a good brushing.

Lucky is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He was previously testing FIV+, but his most recent test showed that it is a very very light positive. FIV isn't a big deal, as it's only transmissible through mating or very deep bite wounds.

About Charm City Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

CCAR is not a shelter, but we do obtain our animals from shelters. Donations are a big part of rescue. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses involved in saving and caring for an animal. All money received by our organization is always applied directly towards the care and well-being of rescued animals. The money allows us to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and feed animals who have had a very difficult life before we rescued them, and we use our own funds up front for their care. Donations help ease that burden, and make it possible to save more lives. We rely on private donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees to fund our rescue, which covers the cost of out-of-pocket expenses such as vet care, food, litter, etc. We are a federally recognized 501c3, which makes all donations tax deductible.
