My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Dante! I was living without a home on the streets of Mexico when some nice people took me in and found a way to bring me to Arizona; lucky me! Life here is soooo much better, but I am still looking for a special home of my own. My foster family is very nice to me and I have a lot of dogs to play with. I'm still a little shy of new people and dogs at first. That's because I ran into a lot of people that were not very nice to me and dogs that were not good about sharing their food. That's no longer a problem and I don't mind sharing because there's always enough food and water now... and toys too! I've learned how to use a doggie door and I always go outside to do my business. I was not a fan of the leash initially, but now I'm getting it and and I do pretty well walking on it, except sometimes I want to play with it because I'm still a bit of a puppy. I hear people say that I still need training but right now I would rather just get pets and give kisses. I've put on a few pounds and I'm now a good healthy weight. I'm about 35 pounds and 8 months old. I won't get a whole lot bigger, so if you have a little room, a little patience, and a LOT of LOVE, I'd sure like to have you as my forever family!
