Howdy I'm Cam!

I love, love, love everyone! I'm looking for a forever family, and I have a wish list.

1. A fenced in yard. I need to run! I love to feel my ears flapping in the wind.
2. Kids or dogs to play with. I like toys and games, and I really want someone to play with me!
3. Lots of treats! (Just kidding! I have to watch my waist. I love food and I will eat and eat till it's gone.)

I hope you will be perfect for me and want to bring me to live with you! I am very loyal and loving and will adore you forever.

I hope to see you soon,
Cam

Cam is between 12 and 18 moths old, 50 pounds. She has a high energy level, but is great in the car, at the dog park and with kids and dogs. She is tolerable on the leash.

Cam does need obedience training. She is easily distractable and struggles to focus on commands. However, she is very food motivated and will respond to rewards. She does know her name and will come and can sit on command. She would be a great dog for a family or an active person who wants to have a running buddy and companion.

Her adoption fee is $100.

About ALMOST HOME Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Almost Home strives for innovative ways to rescue and place animals into loving environments. We are an organization that consists of volunteers with varied interests and experiences, all working towards the betterment of animals. By working within our own group, assisting and educating the public on spaying & neutering, and working with other rescues and sanctuaries, we will see a significant change in the perception and treatment of all animals.

Almost Home believes that every animal deserves a loving home regardless of appearance, age, or physical limitation. We have come together to give animals in need the safe and happy life they all deserve. Almost Home Animal Rescue believes that no animal is expendable.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Each animal is in the care of a foster home or a rescue. Please contact that particular foster or rescue for complete adoption information.

Our Adoption Process...

Unless otherwise noted, all Almost Home animals are healthy, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventitive (if dog,) and flea & tick preventitive.

If you would like to adopt a pet from Almost Home, start by completing our application, which is available online at www.almosthometn.org. Our adoption process includes reference checks, a home visit, a one week trial period, and a contract. Our goal is to find the best fit for our animals, and for their new families.

ADOPTION FEES:

The adoption fee for a CAT is $65, or two for $125. KITTENS are $75, or two for $140. The adoption fee for kittens includes the cost of spaying/neutering and their rabies shot when they are old enough (usually five months).

The adoption fee for a DOG is $135, or two for $220. PUPPIES are $150, or two for $250. The adoption fee for puppies includes the cost of spaying/neutering and their rabies shot when they are old enough (usually five months).

The adoption of more animals, or a different combination of animals, are welcome and fees will be reduced.

Micro-chipped cats and dogs are an additional $15.

NOTE: Some cats and dogs have a different fee than those listed above. It is noted on their posting. Mature pet adoption fees are lower to encourage people to adopt these wonderful animals who have a lot of love to give. The adoption fee for pure bred or desirable mixed breed dogs and cats is based on the average fee charged by area rescues and/or breed specific rescues.

ADOPTION FEES COVER LESS THAN 75% OF THE COST OF VETTING OUR ANIMALS. WE RELY ON DONATIONS AND GRANTS TO COVER THE REMAINDER.
