My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Like long walks, riding in the car, sitting on the sofa watching TV, or reading a book? Malcolm would be the perfect addition to your life! This sweet gentleman loves life, interacting with his human companions, running and playing in his fenced in yard and catching some sun on the front porch as he watches the events in the neighborhood unfold. When someone passes, Malcolm runs to greet a new friend. He isn't bothered by loud noises and is unaffected by thunderstorms. Malcolm gets along nicely with children, does very well with his house training and is working on crate training.

Does this sound like the companion you're looking for? Start the adoption process today, Malcolm is waiting to join you and complete your family.

If you're interested in adopting Malcolm, please first read about our adoption process. Then, complete an adoption application found at www.happypawsrescue.org under the *ADOPT* tab, and email it to happypawsrescue@gmail.com. Malcolm will be at our adoption day events on SUNDAYS from 12-4pm at the Piscataway, NJ Petco. Thank you for your interest in adopting!

You may not know it, but you might have a BEAGLE to thank for your medicines! Beagles are used for safety testing of human and veterinary medicines for the same reasons that they make good pets; they're small and gentle-natured. Where does Happy Paws Rescue come into the picture? On a regular basis, research facilities have beagles that they release to us. It gives us and you a chance to give back to these sweet dogs that have contributed to the advancement of science. Please email us if you're ready to be a giant hero in the eyes of a little dog!
