Tom here is healing up nicely after surgery to repair a bum hip. In the process of healing it was discovered that Tom also has two bum knees and is currently awaiting surgery to repair them. Once completed Tom should be able to enjoy a normal life that includes running and playing with doggie friends. Tom is quite the ladies man, he's thoroughly enjoying the company of his 3 foster sisters. He doesn't seem to care for male companionship but that may just be because he's protective of all his girlfriends. Tom doesn't care for dinner dates with his lady friends though, he dines alone while he's learning better table manners. Tom would love a home that prefers long walks over long car rides... he's not a hang your head out the window kind of dude. He tends to get car sick, but shhh he doesn't want his lady friends to know he can't hang. Tom would love a home with a fur sister or girlfriend to play with, a warm bed to sleep with you in and a lap to share the sofa on. He enjoys playing fetch, squeaker toys, and rough housing with his lady friends. Tom is a little protective in his surroundings (house/yard) but when he's out for walks he's much more open to meeting new people. For Tom, proper introductions at home make a world of difference in his first impressions with new people. Once your Tom approved, you've got a belly rub loving friend for life.

About Mostly Muttz Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Mostly Muttz Rescue is an IRS registered, 501(c)3, public charity that is an all-volunteer, foster based canine rescue striving to keep man’s best friend from dying alone in the shelter system.

We believe that every dog, regardless of health, deserves at least a fighting chance to live, to love and to be loved for the entirety of their life. At Mostly Muttz Rescue, we often choose to save dogs suffering from curable illnesses within the shelter system rather than rescuing dogs that will be easy to place.
