Facts about Sunny

  • Breed: Pomeranian
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10319592

Sunny is an active guy. He likes to play with his toys, people & other dogs.

He does great with other dogs, both big and small, as long as they are willing to play with him! He LOVES playing with his foster siblings.

He also enjoys visiting with the neighbor’s 5 yr. old child, so we feel like he would do really well with kids age 5 +.

Sunny is full of spunk and always ready to play! He is a very sweet boy who enjoys cuddling or sitting on his foster dad's lap or being cradled in his arms for belly rubs after he settles down in the evening.

Sunny dances on his hind legs.

Sunny is making great progress on his housebreaking. He doesn't have accidents overnight or when his foster dad is home but will sometimes have accidents while his foster dad is at work. We feel like he would do fine as long as he was let out on a regular basis.

He is good on leash & likes going for a walks.
came to COPR from WV.

In foster care in Toledo, OH.

About Central Ohio Pomeranian Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

COPR is all volunteer based. Our rescued dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Illinois. Our foster homes are dedicated and loving individuals that work on assessing each dog to better understand the kind of family the dog is best suited for. Upon intake, each of our dogs are given appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped and kept on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Our volunteers work to socialize our dogs and prepare them for their forever home.

Our Adoption Process...

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Central Ohio Pomeranian Rescue. Please understand that it is not our intention to make the adoption process cumbersome; it is only to ensure the animals in our care get the best possible match to last a lifetime.

Our adoption fee is $260, which includes ’: spay or neuter (unless too young or underlying health issues), current parvo/distemper/lepto vaccination(s), rabies vaccination (if older than 16 weeks), heartworm test for all dogs over 6 months, and all dogs will have been provided age appropriate monthly flea and heartworm preventative and any necessary dewormer(s) while in our care. Bonded pairs will not be separated for any reason, and the adoption fee will be reduced to $420 for the pair.

All current pets that reside in the residence must be spayed/neutered and kept up to date on regular vetting . Application processing can take up to a week or longer and is completed with a home visit. COPR reserves the right to deny any applicant.
