Meet Calliope, a gorgeous long haired lady! This pretty girl was brought to us with her two kittens after they were found living in a woman's shed. Thankfully, she was a friendly and caring mom to her babies. Calliope is a small cat, and is a bit on the shy side. She does warm up quickly, especially if you give her attention. She has beautiful markings, and the photos don't show her ears with are flecks of black and orange.

Calliope is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV.

Because we operate with a network of foster homes, an approved application is required prior to meeting any of our kitties.  You can submit your application here: www.charmcityanimalrescue.com/application.

About Charm City Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

CCAR is not a shelter, but we do obtain our animals from shelters. Donations are a big part of rescue. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses involved in saving and caring for an animal. All money received by our organization is always applied directly towards the care and well-being of rescued animals. The money allows us to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and feed animals who have had a very difficult life before we rescued them, and we use our own funds up front for their care. Donations help ease that burden, and make it possible to save more lives. We rely on private donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees to fund our rescue, which covers the cost of out-of-pocket expenses such as vet care, food, litter, etc. We are a federally recognized 501c3, which makes all donations tax deductible.
