Meet Sapphire Pup - Cobalt! He is a boy with a soft and happy heart. Cobalt loves playing with the other dogs and teenagers in his foster home, and he is even good with the resident cats! This boy loves to chase balls and then come to you for cuddles and snuggles. He is crate-trained and house-trained, and he is working on his basic commands. Cobalt is still a young pup, so he would love to go to training classes with you to show off his smarts and work on his socialization. He looks to be a Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, so he could be a medium-sized boy when fully grown. Cobalt is a calmer easy-going boy who likes to have a calmer environment and likes hanging out with the family in the house. When he first meets you, he is a little shy and takes his time getting to know you, but once he realizes that you're a friend, he is very loyal and wants to be with you. Cobalt is looking for a family that understands how a pup like him needs lots of patience while he adjusts to a new home. His new family would understand the time commitment required to raise a puppy and provide him with the consistent training, playtime, socialization, and exercise he needs to grow up into the best companion. If you think you are ready for the rewarding challenge of raising a puppy, apply to adopt today. Cobalt is waiting for you!
The adoption includes the altering of the dog, current vaccinations, and microchipping. For more information on the adoption donation and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. You will find our online adoption application there as well. Once you are approved to adopt, we will discuss how to meet our available dogs. To keep our puppies healthy, we only allow approved applicants to handle puppies at our adoption events. Our dogs are NOT housed at our mailing address. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Thank you for reaching out to rescue a dog in need of hope!
