Meet Sapphire Pup - Indigo! She is so unique with her soft golden face mask that accents her darker brown and black coat. Indigo loves playing with the other dogs, teenagers, and cats in her foster home, though she prefers to not share her meals or treats with anyone. This pretty girl loves to play with her toys and then snuggle up on her dog bed or even your lap for a nap. Indigo is crate-trained and house-trained, and she is working on her basic commands. She is still a young pup, so she would love to go to training classes with you to show off her smarts and work on her socialization. She looks to be a Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, so she could be a medium-sized girl when fully grown. Indigo prefers a calmer environment and likes hanging out with the family in the house. When she first meets you, she is a little shy and takes her time getting to know you. But once she realizes that you're a friend, she is very loyal and will hang out by your side. Indigo is looking for a family that understands how a pup like her needs lots of patience while she adjusts to a new home. Her new family would understand the time commitment required to raise a puppy, make her a priority, and provide her with the consistent training, playtime, socialization, and exercise she needs to grow up into the best companion. If you think you are ready for the rewarding challenge of raising a puppy, apply to adopt today. Indigo is waiting for you!
The adoption includes the altering of the dog, current vaccinations, and microchipping. For more information on the adoption donation and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. You will find our online adoption application there as well. Once you are approved to adopt, we will discuss how to meet our available dogs.
