My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Squirtle! People should take a break from the fake pokemon & give this little blue eyed lady a chance to keep you busy ;)

This sweet girl was adopted from us in August as a 3-4 month old puppy. Despite our advice & warning that she would need training to work through her fear of people-- I am not sure what they did as far as training goes-- & she is now back with us. She is about 6-8 months old now.

Squirtle is fearful of people & new environments. She was a feral puppy when caught. She is getting better & better each day as she learns people aren't so bad. She needs someone familiar with fear dogs OR someone willing to work with her.

No cats or teeny dogs. She LOVES dogs her size. Only dog would be fine as well so she can learn to bond with people more so than other animals.

She has the cutest little personality that will just melt your heart once she gets to know you!! She loves to play, play, play all day if you let her & can be very feisty! She is SO smart & is crate trained :)

She was found as a stray & brought to Tuba City Humane before she was transferred to us in Phoenix. She is now on the hunt for a real FUREVER- WIth a requirement that they must work with our trainer. We anticipate she will be about 50 lbs when fully grown.

She needs a moderately active home. She would be a great hiking, running, jogging/walking partner once she is leash trained (which we are working on) No apartments.

Her adoption fee is 250. This covers her vaccines, spay, deworming, fecal test & microchip & a session with our dog trainer.
