Boomerang's Story...
All work and no play? How about all cuddle and all play, everyday?

Boomerang would probably be voted "Class Clown" if he was in school. This adorable boy just wants to have fun, fun, fun! He loves to take center stage and put on a show with his playful antics, but he can't do that without your help! Don't worry, it's easy. Just give him plenty of toy mice, jingly bells, and especially feather or ribbon wand toys (because he wants you to be part of the fun, too!).

Even with all that lively energy, he still finds the time for cuddles. He is extremely outgoing and loves people, so much that he may just want to leap into your arms or perch himself on your shoulder! Take this silly, playful boy home and you'll be laughing nonstop!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomerang, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
